I Love Guitar Site Feedback

• Superb site! I've been playing guitar for a while but it's often difficult to find information in a clear and concise manner when explaining the concepts to other guitarists and your site has hit the nail on the head! Keep up the excellent work :)
• I just want to take this opportunity to congratulate you on this amazing site. And you continuously improve it, too! Your lessons get me thinking about the guitar in a way that other lessons do not. I don't know why, but Michael Hedges' philosophical approach to the instrument comes to mind when I read your lessons. I just wish there was a trick or something to memorize those DAMN notes on the neck; I continually struggle with this despite being able to grasp some of the more advanced concepts in your lessons, LOL! It's quite mind-boggling to me that you can offer this quality of instruction for free. Are there plans for a printed version and/or cd-roms? Your site is without doubt, the best guitar instruction I have ever seen. Thank you, Frank

Surfing the net today I happened to stumble across the I Love Guitar web site. After reviewing the material, I must say it is one of the best site that I have experienced. I have played guitar for over 35 years, both acoustic & electric, both solo & band work.

While I am not a full time profesional, I am always working at learning and I teach students occassioanlly. Your materials are excellent. Extremely well organized, flawless logic, and excellent, easy to understand instruction and execution. This is rare.

And I love your philosophy, especially on "The Secret to Guitar". Just wanted to let you know that I think you are a first rate teacher, with an excellent attitude and great ideas for learning. I Love Guitar rocks!! - M.

Hi,I picked up guitar back in the 80's but never went anywhere. I recently met a friend (when I went back to school for a career change) who has been playing for 12 years. He always talked about how playing relaxed him, so I decided if I was learning new stuff anyway might as well add guitar!

I helped him with Chemistry and he helps me with guitar. I have seen thousands of guitar sites and frankly I am sick of here are the chords, "for the rhythm just listen to the song". If we could just listen to the song and play then we would all be playing along to all our favorite songs.

Almost everybody skips over how to get better at changing chords (pretty important if you plan on playing a song) and playing rhythm (what good is a blistering lead if you are by yourself?). Enough of my ranting and on to the point of this email...Your site has helped me tremendously with chord changes and rhythm - thank you! -J
